Sacred is a group made up of Indigenous folks that currently or formerly worked in the sex trade. They meet monthly to connect and share experiences as Indigenous sex workers and to draw strength from culture and community. This position will focus on providing support services to Sacred group members and the Sacred Coordinator by helping to plan monthly meetings and connect with Sacred members throughout the month. This position is also meant to support the overall functioning of Sacred and to support Sacred in its goal to build Indigenous leadership. The Sacred Support Worker will report to the Indigenous Programs Director at Peers Victoria and will work with the Sacred Coordinator. Overall, this position is posted for 10 hours per week at $30 per hour. Sacred meetings are once a month, on the second Friday of each month.
