Peers Victoria brought together eight experts and opinion leaders from diverse backgrounds on Sept. 19, 2014 for a conversation around why decriminalizing Canada’s sex industry is the best strategy for improving safety for sex workers and decreasing stigma, “Decriminalizing the Sex Industry: Beyond the Myths and Misconceptions.”

Please watch, learn and share! Much of the sex industry in Canada remains criminalized despite widespread recognition that the criminal framework harms adult sex workers making a choice to work in the industry, while doing very little to stop concerning issues like sex trafficking and child abuse.
